Terms of Service
Effective: 25 August 2026
These Terms govern use of Requestor, the request-management service available at requestor.co.uk. By creating an account or using an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Requestor provides tools for event organisers, DJs and similar users to collect guest requests, manage events and rooms, operate a DJ dashboard and show approved requests on displays. Features may change as the service develops.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity carried out through your account.
- You must tell us promptly at contact@requestor.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You may not create accounts using another person's identity or use another person's account without permission.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use Requestor to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, overload or disrupt the service, scrape or probe the service in an abusive manner, or send unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or otherwise harmful material through the service.
4. Event and request content
You remain responsible for information and content entered by you or your guests through your Requestor instance. You must have an appropriate reason and, where required, permission to collect or use personal information through your event. Requestor may remove content or restrict use where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or protection of the service or others.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Requestor available and reliable, but continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, internet failures and events outside our reasonable control may cause interruption. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
6. Emails and communications
We may send essential service communications such as email verification, password resets, security notices and important account or service messages. Optional marketing email is controlled separately and can be turned off in your profile at any time.
7. Intellectual property
Requestor's software, design, branding and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Requestor's intellectual property.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where an account is used unlawfully, creates a security risk, seriously breaches these Terms, or where suspension is reasonably required to protect the service or other users. You may stop using Requestor at any time. Account deletion requests can be sent to contact@requestor.co.uk.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Requestor is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss caused by matters outside our reasonable control, or decisions made by event organisers or guests using the service. If you use Requestor for business purposes, you are responsible for maintaining any records, backups, insurance and operational contingency appropriate to your event or business.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Our Cookie Policy explains the browser storage currently used by the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Requestor changes or where legal or security requirements change. The current version and effective date will always be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated to account holders.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you are unaffected.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@requestor.co.uk.
